About Solid Rock

At Solid Rock Financial Planning, we focus on an elite group of qualified clients to build custom-tailored investment plans, because each family is unique. Though our clientele are diverse in backgrounds and beliefs, they each have our full commitment to superior service.

Clients often wonder about the origin of our business name, Solid Rock Financial Planning. This name comes from a Bible passage in Matthew 7:24-25.

Therefore everyone who hears these words of [Jesus] and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.

The same sentiment is found in an old Christian hymn: The Solid Rock

My hope is built on nothing less

Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;

I dare not trust the sweetest frame,

But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;

All other ground is sinking sand,

All other ground is sinking sand.

While we strive to create a secure financial future for you and your family, we recognize that true and lasting peace can only be found by submitting your life to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. Building your life upon the Rock of Christ is the only true and sure foundation.

But what if you disagree? It would still be our greatest joy to serve your personalized goals, and give you the superior service our clients have come to expect. God has given me a passion and gift for financial planning, and you can rest assured that my focus is to serve you above myself.
